I consider this a "must have" book for the wood or gourd artist that wants to learn pyrography (wood burning). It shows which style pens to use for what purpose, and even if you use the old style burner, they show you how to get results. This book taught me a lot and they do have patterns, but I primarily used to learn the way to woodburn.
