These books are marvelous. I love a mystery with a puzzle and this author puts actual puzzles in as part of the story! This one's a cypher.

No crosswords in this one, the puzzles are cryptograms. Just a fun, fun series.
Cora Felton is getting married AGAIN. She plans on having her niece, Sherry, as her maid of honor. At the same time, Sherry's best friend, Brenda, shows up in town with her fiance - who just happens to be Sherry's exhusband. Strangely enough, guess who they want to have as THEIR maid of honor - Sherry. Plans for a double wedding begin, only to be further complicated by threatening cryptograms and the murder of Cora's fiance.

Fun series for word lovers - not only a mystery, but a puzzle to go along with it! The puzzle lady and her niece's friend are planning a double wedding, and that is just the beginning of the trouble. Great characters, too. Good hunting!

In this "episode" of the Puzzle Lady Series, Cora Felton is getting married...again! Putting a monkey wrench in the plans is Dennis, Sherry Carter's abusive ex-husband. He shows up with Sherry's best friend, Brenda to let them know that the two of them are getting married. When they find out Cora is planning her nuptials also, they ask that it be a double wedding....Much to both Sherry and Cora's chagrin. Of course, the larger Monkey Wrench is that Murder happens...something the small town of Bakerhaven Connecticut has more than it's fair share of. I have enjoyed this series of books and like following the comings and goings of the characters. If you are looking for a fun, easy, cozy read, this series is it.
