I get a real kick out of Cora and enjoy this series.
This is the best one yet in the puzzle lady series! Moved along faster than the previous books and was funnier and wittier... loved it!
It is autumn in Bakersfield and the big mystery is how many birthdays candles to put on the cake of the town's favorite puzzle lady. But while her long-suffering niece Sherry Carter helps plan the big event, Cora is more interested in landing a case filled with sex, scandal and mayhem.
