I have read this whole sereied of Rita Mae Brown's books about a postmistress and her two cats and Yorkie who help her solve mysteries. The animals communicate to each othe and the rest of the animal world and are smarter than the humans! It is a cute, lighthearted mystery series which make great reads. I highly recommend!
