This is a new first series in the cozy genre. However, it has a little more meat than a typical cozy. It is a gardening series and while there is some gardening tips, I'd like to see more tips in future books. There is a few twists in this book that make it a book hard to put down. Paula Holliday, a former filmaker turned landscaper finds a body in an old neglected garden and turns part time sleuth. The book has a great cast of characters, including a cute but slighty pudgy cop and a hot best friend as well as numerous other memorable characters.

kinda cute...but sometimes hard to follow the characters...and not a lot of typing up of loose ends until the end
I liked this book. Good mystery plot with other mini mysteries that pop up along the way. I will definitely get the next title in this series.
I enjoyed this book very much. In addition to having an interesting plot, you get an insight into landscaping.
