Purity: what if everything you thought you knew was wrong? (Paperback)

It's as if someone had instructed Rick Baber to "write what he knows" and make it interesting, intriguing, funny and spellbinding. He did just that.

Purity takes the reader to northwestern Arkansas where an insurance adjuster, Jeff Davis, is assigned to investigate an accident. Sound dull? Not a chance.

Four young girls have disappeared, each looking like the last, each simply missing until, at the scene of the accident, he finds a fifth girl: Dead.

Who was she? Why was she there? Who was she with? When and how did she die?

Baber takes the reader on a journey that makes being an insurance adjuster sound edgy and exciting. The story moves quickly and keeps you completely engaged with every twist and turn in the plot.

Impossible? That's what I thought as well. I was wrong. The story keeps the reader's attention by with child abductions; a senator who is the leader of a male dominated cult who believes the world is coming to an end; the senator's step-son, who was involved in the deadly accident; and a Doberman pincer. Add to the mix his retired mother who has taken an obsessive interest in the missing girls, Davis' wife Debbie and a retired FBI agent.

Purity will keep you guessing through to the end. I suggest you start reading at a time that you have nothing else to do, because you won't be able to put it down. It is a fast and witty read that leaves you wondering what Davis will be up to next.
