Not as good as Bridges of Madison County but still worth the read.
a little slow to get into in the beginning, but halfway thru the book i found i couldn't put it down.
Fast and easy. Light and fun. Good summer book.
I had read another of this author's books-Bridges of Madison County-many years ago and had really enjoyed it. (Actually, I think it is time to read that one again.) I was wondering if someone who had written such a good romance novel would tell an interesting adventure story and the answer to that for me is yes! I was quickly caught up in the relationship of the three main characters as they made their way through Mexico north from Puerto Vallarta. And his vivid descriptions evoked clear pictures in my mind of the places they went and the people they were. This has a little bit of everything--romance, excitement, and character development that makes Danny, Luz, and "the shooter" into multi-dimensional characters.
Desperate for cash, Danny and Luz Maria agree to drive a mysterious man with a gun to the US border on a wild trip...
