This is wonderful book outlining the in depth investigation that has been done for numerous cases that should have closed down the FLDS cult and stopped the abuse of women and children. I do not understand the hold that Warren Jeffs has on his followers - fear of God or fear of man. This book helps to somewhat understand that it is both but mostly it is a tale of abuse from which no one seems able to free the woman and children of the FLDS.
I was stunned as time after time, the spin from the FLDS leadership was able to stop the enforcement of the laws of the land and further intimidate the members of the cult.
