I ended up liking this book but it would help to be British to understand the slang.

"Up to her eyeballs in her friends' dramas, Harriet Grey has no time for her own,let alone getting entangled with John Mackenzie. And though it's been ages since she met one of the gorgeous men London has to offer, it seems John's entangled with someone else. Or is he?"
This was a fabulous read. Compulsive, well written. Sparks the your funny bone and reminds you what uncertainty lies in new relationships.

This book is a fast, fun read. The romance isn't your "normal" formula for a romance, and that makes the reading that much more fun and enjoyable. I loved the different vernacular of the British, and the wry and witty humor of Harriet.

Enjoyed the book very much, but just like with her first book, you'll be biting your nails/tapping your feet because you're so impatient for Harriet & John to finally get together in the end.

Love the author and the book is filled with fun. Highly recommended for those who enjoy humorous light reading.
Not as good as the book that was made into the movie The Wedding Date (original title, Asking For Trouble), but quite charming! Worth a read and so much better than a lot of the crap out there.
The book blurb says, "From the fire-hot author of Asking for Trouble comes a second irresistibly funny and romantic novel. The delightfully wicked Harriet and John are as perfectly matched as scones and clotted cream--if only Harriet would let herself indulge."

Excellent!!!! Loved it!
This book took a little while to get into, but the story was cute.
Entertaining Brit chick-lit, cute characters and decent storyline
Once you get past the British terms, it is a cute book. It was a very quickly read because it kept you interested.
