A "Promise of Hope" was a very fast read, couldn't seem to put it down. But would advise you to read "A Gift of Grace" by Amy Clipston first. Although this book A Promise of Hope was easy to get the message.
This book reminds you tomorrow isn't promised. That any given day may be your last. So do "it " today. Life is hard and when secrets are left and there is only questions...Life is harder.
Amy Clipston is a wonderful writer.
Enjoy
I enjoyed this second installment of the Kauffman Amish Bakery series for the most part. Sarah is a young widow pregnant with twins, and grieving her husband's death. A relative of her husband, Luke, comes to town to check on him, except Sarah was told her husband was an orphan. The misunderstandings piled on from there. I get that Sarah was grieving, but the whining was overdone. I found several distracting repetitive phrases sprinkled throughout the book. I hope the third book is better, because I like the storyline of the series and will continue reading for that reason.
