This book starts slow and seems to be stereotypical of sagas from the America. Coming from another country, hard work, struggle, etc. ...But, I could not put it down. Very inspiring.

A great book. Has all the emotions in the book...love, hate, passion, ambition, etc. Story starts in the 1930's and ends in the 1990's.

What a tale Archer can spin! This was one of those books that keep you reading until the final page. And you wish you could know what happens after the last page!

I was so disappointed by this supposed sequel to Kane and Able. Don't bother.

The story continues into the next generation from "Kane & Abel". The heroine has charismatic strength and charm thoughout the twists and ironies of fate.

Jeffrey Archer is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. He ability to tell a story with characters that are so captivating is second to none. I feel like I have grown with these people and they are considered my friends. Each time I end one of his books I feel alone and lost. Absolutely brilliant!

Jeffrey Archer's family saga of Kane and Abel continues in this 2nd book of the series. Richard Kane is a banking magnate who is successful, handsome and determined to build a future with the woman he loves. Kate Rosnovski is that woman and her family are Polish immigrants with a love of America and a dream for the future. Kate's dream is to become the first female President of the United States. This book tells how she fulfills that dream. I enjoyed this book as much as the 1st book in the series and I now look forward to reading the 3rd book and last of the series. I highly recommend this series to those who love family sagas.
