I loved this book! In the hands of a less skilled author, the hero would have been unlikeable, and left the reader wondering why the heroinne would even bother. But Brenda Joyce makes this an unforgettable read, with a depth to both characters, and some very touching scenes.

Very good romance with a strong female character.

I enjoyed this story; good characters and good plot. Virginia was quite a handful of stubborn attitude and fortituede. Devlin was a bit back and forth, but I guess that was by design so that we could see his struggle with being human after all. I would have liked to see a few different twists, but I enjoyed the story and wasn't surprised at all by the ending. I enjoy this family.
