I did not like this as much as the other books in this series. It was darker and not as fast paced.
I enjoyed this book. Like Patterson's others, it is a quick read. I am now reading Private Down Under and somewhat disappointed that the main detective lost his wife and son in a car accident just like the main detective in this book. Don't know if that somehow insects with the other book...will see when I finish this one. Just seems Patterson could have thought of some other tragedy to use in one of the books.
