Brutally honest and inspiring autobiography. Pete Rose may not be an angel but he was a damned good ball player. The book is a good read and is especially interesting for those who are baseball fans and/or admire folks with moxie.

Great read. Rose's attitude was key in his success on the ball field. The book tells all in brutal detail. I was/am a huge fan. It was hard to put this book down!! And yet, I don't think I would want my teenager to read it!!

Brutally honest and candid. Pete Rose isn't a choirboy, but he was one of the best players ever to pull on a major league uniform, and his playing career is definitely worthy of the Baseball Hall of Fame. The book lets you see how Pete Rose came to be what he is today. An interesting sports bio, and well worth the read for any fan, especially if you were/are a fan of Pete Rose and the Big Red Machine!
