I really enjoyed this book. Sure, it didn't really have a point overall (sometimes felt like it was written just because the author knew another Landover book would sell well), but it was still something that I had no problem with finishing. This is an author that can blend the right amount of plot in with humor and leave you feeling satisfied with a story's ending. It's the type of book you read when you want to revisit old characters you haven't read in awhile so that you may see how they're doing. It may be a simple plot recipe, but it's definitely a favorite that you don't mind being served.
