This appears to be the final story about the Royal House of Illyria... unfortunately, it was my first book about that family too (I'll have to find the others).
Prince Marco Considine knows at first site that he must have the beautiful Jacoba Sinclair. Jacoba is fearful of Marco and all that he represents as a royal member of the Illyria family... a place and history that Jacoba has been trained (since childhood) to be fearful of. And yet Marco and Jacoba find that they can't stay away from each other... their attraction and need for each other is too strong to ignore. And so the begin to build a trusting, faithful and loving relationship together.
A fast read about an interesting family and culture. I only wish I had started with the first book in this series.
