This was not the typical romance novel. Amazing that it was this author's first work! Characters are well developed and behave in ways that are realistic. I can't wait to read the next book by this author...

Hunky guy turns into a wolf and saves the damsel in distress. What could be more romantic? Great book. Really enjoy Susan Krinard's books.

Joelle Randall only wants a guide to lead her the Canadian Rockies where her parents plane went down years ago so she can have closure and say her final goodbye. The only guide she could find was a reluctant Luke Gevaudan, an attractive loner with the feral grace of a wolf. How was she to know he was one of a dwindling race...an ancient race of werewolves.
