I had this book on my wish list for a very long time. It was worth the wait. Follows the life of Ibrahima, a Muslim prince, captured by a rival tribe and sold into slavery. He winds up in Natchez, Mississippi where he works on a plantation for nearly 40 yrs. His journey to return to his native country is inspiring. Good read!
