This series is one of the best that I've read in a while. I got them all and loved them
It was a little slow in parts but I love how it gets you involved with the other characters in the book, not just the main two. I also like how the female vampires are more empowered. If you are reading the entire series, this is a must read. It explains many questions you may have and it sets you up for the rest of the series.
It was very good but I feel like she's thinning the stories by adding the back story and issues of other characters. I'm hoping she's leading up to something pretty big with all this interplay.
Excellent book, great detail, pace isn't too fast or slow, and you get a female vampire's view of thier world. Great addition to the series.
