This is a good book, but brief. It provides a good overview of each presidency, a portrait and interestingly, an image of their signature. This is a starter book. I will now move on to something with more depth. But it did help me pin down those presidencies that I would like to know more about. For example, the fact that John Quincy Adams was the first president to seriously propose a national system of highways and canals--basically the beginnings of a national infrastructure makes him an interesting candidate for a more in-depth read. You might find something else that interests you more. I enjoyed this.
