As the title implies, this book is about premonitions, particularly those of a character named Gracie. These premonitions eventually lead to her solving a mystery about her friend's disappearance.
This book was really suspenseful and the ending was definitely unexpected... if you like mysteries, you'll enjoy this book!
I picked this book up from a library book sale and started reading it before I realized it was a book from Scholastic, and meant for readers a little younger than myself. I read it anyway, and it seemed like it would make a good Nickelodeon movie or something. Basic premise: Girl gets psychic visions, girl's friend disappears, girl tries to use her powers to save her friend. Probably a good read for a middle-schooler.
This book might be listed as YA, but I think it's really too scary for them. Huh, maybe it was too scary for me!
People need to overcome dire events and go on with their lives, but how, when the death of someone so close to you closes so many doors? We try to teach our children that there is reason in the world, but that isn't always so...
From back cover: Gracie has premonitions. They've haunted her since before her mother's death. She doesn't know how to deal with them, and doesn't want to. She never knows whether she's seeing the past, the present, or the future. It just comes to her. Then Gracie's best friend, Emily, disappears. And suddenly the premonitions she fears are the only clues to solve the mystery of where Emily has gone--and how she can be saved.

An interesting, fast paced read about a girl haunted with premonitions. She must use them to save her best friend when she dissapears.
I have never read this author before and was kind of hesitant. But this book drew me in within the first chapter. Exciting and interesting book. Would recommend this book to anyone who loves a good mystery!
This is really a teenage book, but also excellent for adults. I enjoyed it very much.
