Good story, well written. The whole series was a great read in the "space opera" genre.
Walter Jon Williams is a fantastic author, so I forgive him for this 'Dread'ful waste of toilet paper by having ink printed on it needlessly before use. Skip this, and go read some of his classics, you'll be glad you did.
Book one of a trilogy. Great story, characters I cared about, and some battles that made me so nervous you would think that I was there.
There are two main characters in this series and I liked them both. One is male and the other is female. They are both strong and dynamic characters. I found the female the more interesting of the two, in part because I am female and also because she has a fascinating backstory. I can't explain it anymore without giving too much away.
Second book= The Sundering
Third book= Conventions of War
