An uneducated man walked into a monastery in the 16th Century, and died a man of great love for God and for others. The life he lead there took him through the self-condemnation of his previous existence and into the light of God's love. Brother Lawrence's writings were compiled by others and have become the touchstone for all who wish to enter into a deeper personal relationship with God.
I have read this short (110 pages)book many times because it's practical application is so true. But like many simple truths, it takes daily practice to apply. Others who I have loaned this book to have shared their personal spiritual growth stories with me. This book, if applied, will change your path with the Lord. God Bless.

Simple and wise. This has met a need for me at a certain time in my spiritual life.
