I think I liked this book better than the first. I loved the almost non-stop action throughout the story. I thought the split narration between John and Marina added so much more to the story. The introduction and involvement of the other Garde members was great. I really love that the bad ass of the story is a female. It's nice to see a strong female lead instead of one that seems to always depends on a guy. I found some things a little predictable, like the relationship developing between John and Six, but I figured that one out in the first book.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book and can't wait for the next one to come out to see what happens.

Good sequel to I am Number Four. The introduction of Six, another Lorien Garde, as the leader/teacher of John and Sam provides a strong female character to compliment John's maturing powers (Legacies). Nice twist added for Sam and his earlier beliefs from book one. Two more Garde are added before the end of the book. This is a good teen/young adult series that I just happened to start after seeing the I Am Number Four movie.
