This is the third book in this first of the trilogies. This series has captured my interest in a way that a series has not for a long time. The main character is NOT loveable; but that makes him more interesting in many ways. (a reluctant hero)

Book 3 of the 1st trilogy about a man magically summoned to an alternate world to help them fight their most ancient evil foe because he is thought to be the reincarnation of it's greatest hero. A thoroughly adult fantasy tale full of sorcery, peril & heroism.

Book Three of Thoms Covenant the Unbeliever. The prologue is written well so that you don't miss too much of the nuances of the first two books. This is the conclusion of the triology. More of an adult Lord of the Rings type of book. I have read all three books and found this the best one. I enjoyed is immensly!!!

Read my review for The Illearth War
These books are, in my opinion, a good idea ruined by a bad writer.
They are good enough to read once, but I did not like them enough to keep them on the shelf with Zelazny and Kenneth Morris.
