More Brad Thor than Vince Flynn when it comes to character and story development. Dewey Andreas has the chops for a hero who could easily appear in a Thor or Flynn book. Story is predictable and time-worn; however its a good read for those who love this genre. I will keep this author on my radar as I enjoyed this book.

Nice book for this genre. Good writing with little "filler."

if you like vince flynn's mitch rapp series, i am sure that you will like power down. although he is outside the organized terror fighting apparatus, and in spite of having been maligned by the powers that be in his country, he actively protects that country's interests when thrown into the fray. it is an exciting adventure that will keep your interest through to the end.
