Jeanne Boylan has an uncanny way of connecting with the victims and witnesses to crime to create an artistic likeness. When the perp is caught, it's shocking how closely her drawings resemble the photos. It's intreguing to see how she approaches her work - with sensitivity to the victims but at a personal cost to her own peace of mind. An interesting read.

Very interesting if you are interested in true crime. The author works as a forensic profiler, so the reader actually gets accurate psychological profiles of criminals from a firsthand source.

You may have seen Jeanne on "America's Most Wanted" talking about the suspects she drew from her interviews of crime victims in some of the most famous crime cases in history. This is her fascinating and fast reading autobiography in which she recounts the back stories of well known cases she helped solve such as The Unibomber, the Polly Klaas case, and the Oklahoma City Federal bldg bombing.
