I'm a big fan of Georgia's flowers. I never gave much thought to the person behind those paintings. This book really gave me a look into an era that I was unfamiliar with. The beauty in her paintings seems to be at odds with her personality, as far as her dealings with others throughout her life.

Well written biography based on much research including interviews with family and friends (O'Keefe wouldn't cooperate with author). Highly recommended.
