The tragedy of the North american Indian is Haunting and Beverly Bird Brings it all sadly back.It is a wonderful heartbreaking love story. Many romance authors especially that write love stories between whites and Indians can,t even compare to her development of character. The fear and rage that she describes so aptly and justifiably that the aboriginals experience hits one with the full force that we as whites deserve.I sincerely hope she will write more on the plight of the native North Americans.Incredible reading.
