This book is a great companion to The Belgariad and Mallorean series by David Eddings. Its the centuries long story of the great sorceress that appears in those novels.

The series behind this book was great but it made you want to know more about the characters. This books answers all questions that you could have about a very important charater. Read the series first if you need to but read this book.
