I love this book as a child. I made my mother read it over and over until I could read it myself over and over. I especially like the part where Pokey escaped from his cage (again) and landed in a cage with a great big grizzly bear who was trying to squeeze him to death. The way he escaped from that always got me laughing. I am sure this will be one of your children's favorites.
