I got this book by mistake through my book club, it is the most confusing and conglomerated mess I've ever tried to read and I surely didn't like the part about the monkey. I didn't even finish it it was so messy!

I was surprised that this book was actually better than the last couple of stinkers that I've read in the series. I'd almost given up hope on the Plum crew after those. This book gave me a few great laughs (although none of that laughing until I cried like I experienced in the earlier novels), but the gags with the monkey ran dry after awhile and I didn't laugh at those nearly as much as I'm sure the author wanted me to. Still, it's not one of the best in the series, and even though it was good enough to keep me interested in reading future books in this series, I will only be using PBS credits to get them so I don't waste my money on a new copy.

Love the characters...Love Stephanie Plum, Lula, Ranger and Morelli. Interesting and funny all in one. Another character that shows up is Diesel!! and Hal!! Oh yeah don't forget the fire farting Elmer..lol You gotta read this one!
