Baty has a humorous voice/style and the book was encouraging. I participated in the Nat'l Novel Writing Month and completed a novel in one month after reading this book.

A must for anyone taking the Nanowrimo challenge! It helped me make it to 50,000 words two years in a row.

The book has good information and some people do NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) the way Chris recommends. However, I use a very different system which has worked very well over the last six years - each of my projects are completed and in print and my project for this year is already under contract with my publisher :)

Not at all what I was expecting (as I didn't preview the book well). It's a "how-to" book with suggestions that will help you write a book in a month. It was a bit unreasonable for my life, but it may be just the thing for someone truly interesting in writing a novel quickly. Good luck.

It was okay..:)
