Hmmm, hot book - lots of steam and an interesting concept, but I just couldn't get into it and wound up skimming my way through a good portion. First of all, it's told in first person, which is something I tend to avoid. Pushing the envelope even further is the fact that it's told not only from the heroine's perspective, but also from the "hero" Malachai's as well. I guess the argument coud be made that given both first person perspectives, you get more depth and insight into the other character, but it just didn't work for me. I gave the book two and a half stars.

I really liked this book. I have only read 3 other books from this author before this one and out of those 3 I have only reccomended 1. This is on the top of the list of best books I've read this year, I think Lorie really shows her talent with this. There is a twist in the beginning that may draw some people back a bit but I think it's crazy erotic and unique. I just wish there was a real Pleasure Island, because if there was I'd rob a bank and run away to that island and get me some man slaves. LOL.

** warning. This book is very sexually explicit. There is M/F/M interaction. And I suggest you sit in front of an open fridge when reading this. Just a thought. **

Awful Book, Won't give anything away so I won't ruin it for someone else. But I sure wasted a credit on this. Horrible plot.
