Thank you everyone! I have really enjoyed getting everyone's recommendations and have been working through the list. I started reading Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series and like it a lot. I've read a ton of Sophie Kinsella's books and every Mary Kay Andrews book that our library has. I look forward to checking out everyone's suggestions. Feel free to keep them coming!

Oops! Wanted to add that of Sophie Kinsella's books, I really, really liked "Can You Keep a Secret?" best. The main charachter is a lot like Becky in the Shopaholic series but without the obsession on shopping. A really fun read!

For light, fun reads with happy endings, I don't think you can go wrong with Susan Elizabeth Phillips.  I read her books in hard copy and then revisit them as audio books when I travel.  Fun, sexy, great dialogue, fast reads.

Simply Irresistible, The Sweetest Thing, and Animal Attraction by Jill Shalvis. All are laugh out loud funny with wonderful characters.

If you are liking Janet Evanovich,  Love Overboard was also very good, and so funny!

Hi! Check out my bookshelf, I have several chick lit/romance books that are happy go lucky and very nice reads.. Some are suspensful, some draw tears to your eyes, and lots of laughs!  I  highly recommend Tall Pine Polka, Letters for Emily, Leaving Eden, and Jimmy's Girl.  Thanks for looking!  ;-) Kelly G

Without a doubt, the most hilarious book I ever read was Devil in the Junior League.  Highly recommend!!

If it doesn't have to be fiction, I would recommend It's a Chick Thing, by Ame Mahler Beanland and Emily Miles Terry.  Jill Conner Browne (of Sweet Potato Queens fame) wrote the forward.  Here's the ISBN if that would be helpful: 1-56731-461-9
