This was a favorite of my daughters since she was a baby. The repetitive language in the story along with the adorable illustrations is a winner! Get this book!
The primary joy of this book is Kadir Nelson's effervescent illustrations depicting a day in the life of a curious toddler with a mind of her own. The day begins at 3 A.M. with the baby awake and ready to play. From there the busy baby: dumps food on her head, draws on the wall, doesn't want to share, eats sand, doesn't want to hold her parent's hand or leave the playground, or eat her peas,...splashes the bath water, and gets up after being tucked in for the night. But, now it is baby's turn to make a request for her mama to please give her another good night kiss. It is now 10 P.M. as recorded by the small clocks throughout the book.
