So Boring! I read 200+ pages into this book over a 3 week period & finally just had to call it quits! It was to the point I dreaded picking the book up & had read 6 other books in the meantime.
I like the setting but the characters could of been much more developed. It also would of been nice if the story actually had a point or was going somewhere. All 200 pages I read were just very blah, with a few mediocre 'romance' scenes. After 200 pages there was still no plot in the story...at least not one that kept me reading.
With this being said, I have previously read a few other books by Ms McLane & loved them, so I will give the 2nd bk. in this series a try.

Light hearted story successful "hot" guy returns to hometown. Interesting story line with several underlying plots. It is alittle slow for starters but finishes on a good note A new author for me, will try her next one of the series Catch of The Day in January.
