This is, by far, my favorite of the series. There is still a little bit of torturing, because, well, Genesis (the big evil gov't baddies) thrive on that crap. Cassie and Dante are a great couple and it's very easy to get into either of their heads with the whole self doubt and Cassie's whole "does he love me" thing will probably hit far too close to home for many girls.
And, without giving any spoilers, I *love* the introduction of a new paranormal flavor.
Not sure if this is the end of the trilogy. We get a pretty damn awesome resolution, but there's some left open for either a future series/book or at least a novella.

I am mixed about this one because Dante never really listens to Cassie and it got annoying. She never says what she really thinks. But after reviewing what I have read in the first two books, I have to admit that it was fitting to their characters. It was okay. Very obvious but the epilogue was well worth it, especially if you have been reading the series.
