Don't let the title fool you; this isn't a book on how the author went about making money by selling stuff in World of Warcraft. Oh, he touches on it here and there, but what this book is really about is the author's investigation into the inner workings of how some people go about making money from various activities in MMORPGs.

But, there was nothing surprising here. It turned out to be an exceedingly boring read, despite the fact that the author is a "well-known" journalist.
