I have always loved dear Amelia Bedelia :)
This one has been a particular favorite of ours.
I enjoy reading these with my children now.

Amelia learns the rules of baseball in her own literal translation.
(It's a shame that 'home plate' is empty- so she bakes some cookies to serve on it) My favorite part of this book though is when she is learning to play baseball and the boys tell her to run 'home' and she thinks it is odd, but she takes off for the house! :D

Can Amelia Bedelia save the day by filling in for a sick baseball player? Once again, she comes through-but not how you'd expect!
