Great graphic novel for reluctant female readers. The book is about a group of teenage girls who use art as rebellion.

This book is the best Graphic novels I've read. Its incredible how the tragedy that happened to Jane changed her. She has a lot of spunk and creativity along with orginality. The same goe's for the writing. Cecil Castellucci does a phenominal job on this book with lots of heart and Drama.

I typically do not read graphic novels, but I could not get enough of this one.
The Plain Janes archives a group of high school misfits who engage in a series of art attacks throughout their suburban neighborhood. I found the story to be truly inspiring and very clever. I definitely recommend this book, regardless if you are not a regular fan of graphic novels.
