Normally I do not read zombie books but I liked the cover blurb on this one so thought I'd give it a try. I surprised myself and actually enjoyed it a lot. I liked the characters, the humor, and the action. The story moved right along without excessively gory details which I appreciated; my imagination works just fine. I found this story to be a good solid few hours of entertainment and I'll check out the next book too.

Great Story! Good action, good characters, a little romance thrown in and a world on the brink of destruction. It takes a practical look at what really would happen to the average person when the dead get up and walk around! If you are a fan of Zombie movies, Buffy, "The Walking Dead" or anything else along these lines, you'll like this book. Can't wait for #2!

I really enjoyed this one, lots of sights, smells and fighting of all things zombie. Tense and creepy. Not sure about the romance part...but I am super excited for #2.
