I so enjoyed reading this! Without giving anything away I can say this is a modern-day fairy tale (of sorts), with allusions to Sleeping Beauty and knights in shining armor and the unexpected appearance of dragons (of the heart). Really a wonderful read. Very engaging characters and a number of surprises and twists in the plot make for quick reading. Definitely recommended.

The characters draw you in in a slow, revealing way and then the intensity of the story finally takes off at a more enticing pace. There is an element of dramatic irony in that the keen reader can see where portions of the story are headed, but you still feel compelled to keep reading just to see how it all plays out. Overall, an entertaining story with a predictable but satisfying ending.
