I loved this book! This is one of George's Inspector Lynley/Barbara Havers series, but it focuses, this time, on the St. James.' Deborah is sought out by an old friends' brother. Her friend is on Guersney (a channel island) & is accused of murder. Not only is the murder story fascinating, but the murder of Simon & Deborah is also an aspect that is fleshed out & a rewarding part of the whole book.
