I was getting into this series enough to finish this 3rd one, buttttt, well, I am not so excited about it. Just missing something...not sure really what. Just the relationship between the two sisters is so routine, it is not very believable. I do like the mysterious element of her cloak and dagger helper in the murder investigation, that is cool. The rest,..well, she gives away so many pizza's while complaining about her revenue, that its rediculous, and I knew who the murderer was from the get go. 2.5 starts is pushing it, but who doesn't like pizza?

Judson Sizemore is opening an Italian restaurant, right near A Slice of Delight. It Is complete with a wood fired oven and a professional pizza maker who will spin the crust in the air. To make matters worse, Judson is passing out fliers announcing the grand opening inside "The Slice".....He and Eleanor and Maddy have words and throw him out of their establishment...but not before he is threatened ...When his body is discovered inside his restaurant on the day of his grand opening, the sisters move to the top of the suspect list....On the lighter side, David Quenton, who had been doggedly pursuing Eleanor and had been rebuffed many times over, is back in town, but with an entirely different and more likable personality and attitude.....Eleanore may be having a change of heart and actually be attracted to him.......Was an entertaining read, even though I was able to figure out who the the killer was early on, I am looking forward to the next installment to see how all the relationships develop.....
