Probably best as a read-aloud for 2nd graders. (Update a few years later), Actually, it is math that is covered in 3rd and 4th grades (1st half of the book numbers up to a billion, 2nd half covering fractions), and based on last year's teaching of 4th grade, they need a book like this badly.
