Bob Shaw was born in the Bronx, New York, and has been involved in baseball for 21 years as a player, coach, and manager. He played professional baseball for fifteen years, first for Detroit and then for the Chicago White Sox, where, under Al Lopez and Ray Berres, he compiled the best winning percentage in the American League with a record of 18-6 in 1969. Through 1973, Mr. Shaw was the coach for the Milwaukee Brewers. Currently living in Tequesta, Florida, Mr. Shaw is involved with amateur baseball at Little League, high school, college, and American Legion levels.« less
