Book age level is listed 2 - 6 years old, but I would recommend this book for 2 - 4 years old. My son just turned 6 and was given this book as a birthday gift and it was definitely more geared for a younger child.
However, it is an excellent interactive book that allows the child to get involved.

My almost-three- year-old daughter loves this book! It's easy to read, funny, and the pictures are simple and not distracting. She enjoys saying, "No you mayn't drive the bus!" to the pigeon. Highly recommended!
All of the pigeon books by Mo Willems are great and hilarious, but this one is especially funny! The pictures are so well-drawn, and fun to look at. The humor is fun for all ages. A great book! :)

I loved this book! Great to read to students of all ages especially if you use different voices. They will laugh and laugh!
We LOVE Mo Willems! The vocabulary is simple for early readers in a easy-to-understand font, but the illustrations lob his work out of the park. Willem's drawings are simple and uncluttered but convey worlds of nuances in the quirk of a pigeon's eyebrow. I enjoy his books as much as (maybe more than!) my kids. They're quick, delightful reads, unlike oh anathema - Dr. Seuss.
