A very satisfying read. I read this one after reading "After the Rain" and found the author's prose to be more mature and the characters more fully developed. I grew to love all the characters and was reading this one far into the night.

This is the first Karen White novel that I've read. She told a very good story. A young woman suffering from panic attacks seeks retreat in her mother's home. She has many issues to come to terms with. All and all very well written. I couldn't put it down once I got started.

This is another great book by Karen White, I have read most of her books and have enjoyed everyone of them.

If you are looking for a new fantastic author try Karen White you will not be disappointed.

This was a very thoughtful book. I really enjoyed the mother and daughter conflict and how it was resolved I very good read. will be looking for more from this author.

What a wise, involving read! Could not put this one down. This book resonated so deeply with me and I was so invested in the characters and situations that I actually feel a little bereft now that I have finished this book. This is an author who I have just recently discovered, whose books I have found great satisfaction in. I recommend this book highly!

I absolutely loved this book. The characters and their emotions were very well devolped and peeled away like the layers of an onion until you the reach the conclusion. I read it in one weekend - just couldn't put it down I highly recommend this book. Carol
