This is Robin's and Anne's story. As always Lynn Kurland spins a great love tale of enchantment. Robin and Anne meet as children and are in love with each other from the beginning. Grow, go their different ways, Robin returns home after a quest to find Anne even lovelier than when he left. A bit predictable but chivalry is not dead!!! A good sit by the window or pool read. I have all of her books and love it that most of the characters are intertwined between the stories... Truly enjoyed this book!!!

I love Lynn Kurland books. You meet characters from many of her other books in them. She has a wonderful way of putting together characters that travel back or forward from their 'time'. Very enchanting stories with wonderful plots.

In this tale of medieval wooing and mystery, Kurland has created an endearingly gruff and impossible hero balanced by a warm and vulnerable heroine. There is an often hilarious humor to the scenes of sibling rivalry and the secondary cast of characters is so interesting that one can easily imagine a series of books featuring the members of the de Piaget clan.

Book 2 in the dePiaget family. I did not read the first book, and felt I had missed something, but was still able to follow the plot. I liked this love story. However, I thought it could have been shorter. Way too much time was wasted with the characters not admitting their true feelings, when they were so obviously in love.

first Lynn Kurland is so romantic while leaving the sexy details to your imagination. Second this series on the McLeod's and the de Piaget's is marvelous. WoW what a family.

This is about a medieval lord and lady who grew up together and fall in love but, don't let each other know that they love each other. Funny situations come and they must solve the mystery of who wants them dead. Great read.

Anne of Fenwyck has loved her foster brother, Robin de Piaget, since they were children. Robin was smitten himself when he first laid eyes on her, and boys being boys, he put a frog down her dress to show his affection. When they were younger, the two of them had been as close as could be, but because of an act of humiliation Robin felt so profound, he kept himself and his heart away from Anne for fear that she would find him lacking. As soon as he could, he went off to war, determined to forget Anne, and prove himself.
Robin has grown up to become a most fierce and feared knight and has stayed away for five long years yet when he learns that Anne's father is husband-hunting he rushes home before it is too late. Proficient in war, but unskilled in wooing his surliness soon works to a distinct disadvantage as he tries to get on Anne's good side.

Knowing Robin's heart better than he knows himself, his brother Nicolas and his very strong-willed and domineering grandmother set out to bring a bit of chivalry to this fearsome knight! As if Robin didn't have enough on his plate trying to woo his lady, there is an evil plot afoot to take Anne from him before he ever makes her his.
